I love to play for families. It never really occurred to me until I returned to Wyoming, how Wyoming my music is. I played at the Library in Thermopolis a few months back, and it was amazing. I sang and taught folks some secrets to songwriting, and the business. But something much larger happened that day. I sold 40 CD’s in an hour, because every person in the room felt like my music was about them. A lot of folks who sing in Wyoming sing songs about Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California. But how many do you know sing songs about us, me and you? Not just cowboy songs or country songs. But songs about all the things you and I take for granted. I sing about all things Wyoming. That is what I do.
